The lead singer and keyboardist of Red Hot Icicles Burning on Fire. She was wearing a very 60s-style hot pink chiffon dress with black tights and really cute black boots. Before the set, she was wearing a black cardigan, and I thought that looked fine. But when I saw that she was using the dress kind of like a pinafore over a black top, I was less impressed. Still, I like her sense of style overall. And she’s a very good singer as well.

Karen Carpenter was cool! I didn’t really know that until I saw the MOW about her life. I wasn’t a fan of their music, but it totally rocked that she was the band’s drummer!

Thanks to Natalie (wish I’d gotten your 411!) for telling us there was a real life cliché around the corner — a Lamborghini stopped by a motorcycle cop on Main Street. I don’t know if the offence was speeding or wreckless lane changing or both or something else, but it was pretty funny. Whatever little thing the driver of the Lamborghini did, I imagine the cop wanted to bust them for it.

This shoe at DSW said “buy me.” Or rather, “buy the ones in the box that are your size.” I resisted at first, but then I gave in. I’m not sorry I did. I mean, look at that price! I really do have at least one dress these shoes will go with.
